Bastille Day - Group Exhibit // July - August 2006

Working primarily in pastels, Donna is best known for her stunning, intricate landscapes, full of lovely rolling hills and meadows with picture perfect skylines. The settings are so realistic you can easily imagine yourself strolling playfully in the farmlands and/or walking barefoot in the streams.

Donna was a successful art instructor for over 35 years in Manitowoc, WI as well as in Dubuque, IA where she taught at the junior high school level. Since 2002, she has dedicated her time to painting with many different media, but prefers the strong colors and technique of pastels. Her works have been shown throughout the Tri-State Region and she has been honored as a feature artist for one cover of Dubuque's Julien's Journal Magazine. Donna graduated from Viterbo University in LaCrosse, WI with a Degree in Art Education.
